Web 2.0 collaboration is relatively new to the scene of the Web 2.0 world. Collaboration tools such as SkyDrive, Dropbox, and Google Apps all have their place and different uses, I don't think I could choose just one to use. I have never used SkyDrive but I actively use both Dropbox and Google Apps because I believe they have two different uses.
Dropbox's range of use, for me, is to share videos and music with my friends. My friends and I all have Dropbox installed on our computers and a few of us, including me, have it installed on our cell phones. If one of discovers a new band, song, or show, then we place it in the Dropbox so all of us can see it.
Google Apps has a completely different use for my friends and me. We use this to help each other on homework assignments or other miscellaneous documents that we have created that contain shared passwords or information on websites, servers, or IP addresses that we frequently use.
Even if these two sites can be considered as similar collaboration tools, they are completely different to me.
